We’ve been moving people around London since 2012. When we started all those years ago, Happy2Move was just one man and one van, fed up with bad service and on a mission to prove the opposite. We wanted to provide a happy experience for every customer which meant going the extra mile to offer a service you could rely on whenever and wherever. It meant working with you, not just for you. And most importantly, it meant showing up with a friendly positive attitude every time.

Since then, the Happy2Move mission has become a nationwide operation, run by our team of dedicated moving professionals. We come to work every day because of that one united vision – to make every moving experience feel completely stress-free from start to finish.

The best form of recommendation is through word of mouth. If you have any friends or family that have recently moved, you can ask them for recommendations. The main difference between a ‘man and van’ service and a ‘removals’ service would be the size of the job. Removal services are more comprehensive, meaning we can take care of complete moves and offer other services such as packing, moving and storing to keep the stress of your house move to a minimum.

A man and van service is a streamlined version of a removal service. It still offers the same quality of service, but is more often used as a pick-up and drop-off service.

All our vehicles are insured to carry out removals both domestically and commercially. We have goods in transit insurance, also known as GIT insurance, to cover the liability of the declared value of the items up to £50k per van. We also have public liability insurance in place up to the indemnity of £2 million.

New members of staff receive the appropriate training when they first start working for us, to bring them up to speed with our standards. From there, they are partnered with experienced staff members for two weeks to ensure they’re doing the best job they can.

If additional training is required, this is of course provided to ensure we meet industry standards and offer the very best service.

We offer additional services to help make your move go smoothly and take some weight off your shoulders. These services include packing, moving and storage services.

If you change your mind about needing our service, we will charge you according to how much notice you give us. Here is our cancellation policy:

Working days refer to the working week of Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and Public Holidays.

  • If you inform us more than 10 working days before the removal was due to start that you wish to cancel, you won’t be charged.
  • If you inform us between 5 and 10 working days before the removal was due to start, you will be charged no more than 30% of the removal cost.
  • If you inform us less than 5 working days before the removal was due to start, you will be charged no more than 60% of the removal charge.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer discounts for multiple bookings. We are confident that for the level of service we deliver, our prices are highly competitive.
