If you have ever considered a move to London, you’ll probably find you’re spoiled for choice. From the bustling city life and historic monuments of the north to the thriving finance and industry sectors emerging in the East, no matter where you turn, London has something enticing offer.

Moving to West London has its own charms, too. The area makes an ideal place to settle for families and those who wish to have good links to the capital without getting caught up in the frantic way of life that living in Central London entails.

Here are a few more reasons why many more people are choosing to pack up and head to this part of the borough.

Family friendly

Heading up to Ealing, you’ll find a host of stunning parks where you can relax and where the kids can safely enjoy some clean, fresh air. The district also boasts a wealth of Ofsted approved schools.

The same goes for Richmond Upon-Thames, an area resplendent in lush, green parks and surrounded by quality schools, all making it the perfect place to raise a family.

Well connected

Whether it’s for work or pleasure, if you’re always on the move, you might find relocating to Hammersmith a good choice.

WIth its quick access to the A4 and onwards, the West London area of Hammersmith provides a good base for those regularly travelling out of London to the west country and Heathrow Airport in one direction, and deep into the capital in the other.

If public transport is your main way of getting about, you’re well served with a bus station and two underground stations connecting you with the District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines.

Yet wherever you go in West London, from Brent to Wandsworth and everywhere in between, you’ll always find excellent transport links.

Great for sport and culture

Speaking of Brent, the borough hosts the world famous Wembley Arena and Wembley Stadium. Home to the most prestigious games in premier league football, rugby and even, in recent years, stars from America’s National Football League, Wembley Stadium is a mecca for sports fans.

Next door, the arena has welcomed a who’s who of the most notable names in music. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Bob Dylan Pink Floyd and a host of other legendary names have all entertained audiences at the arena.

Elsewhere in West London, the Hammersmith Apollo has earned a reputation as place to catch the hottest acts in music and comedy.

All of this means, of course, that if you’re fan of music, entertainment or sport, you’ll the world’s best right on your doorstep when you move to the area.

Affordable shopping and leisure

The Southside shopping centre in Wandsworth, houses stylish, affordable shopping, a cinema and restaurants, and it’s not the only place in West London providing great leisure time options.

Wherever you go in the area, you’ll find great places to eat, shop, relax and play.

So whether you’re a family looking to settle down or a young professional searching for the perfect combination of local transport links and night life, West London has something to offer you.
